A young woman has died and at least three others have been injured in a powerful earthquake that struck Bosnia and Herzegovina in the late hours of 22 April.
Bosnian media report that a 27-year-old identified as Elmira Sefo has died after a stone fell on her house.
Her parents and sister were slightly injured. A large rock fell on their house in the Kukavac neighborhood due to the 5.6 magnitude earthquake recorded last night with its epicenter in Stolac.
The quake, which was reported shortly after 11pm, was felt in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo.
The magnitude 5.7 quake had its epicenter about 42 kilometers southeast of the city of Mostar and a depth of about 5 kilometers, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center. This Center has warned that there may be other shocks in the following hours and days.
