Edit’h Harxhi in a skype connection with the show Open said that the Russia-Ukraine conflict would have terrible consequences for Europe.
However, she added that she is more concerned about the Balkans, as Serbia would take the plunge to attack Kosovo.
“There would be terrible consequences for Europe, there would be a large number of refugees coming in from Poland.
Many countries that are in stabilization-association with the EU, such as Moldova, would be included.
The consequences will be in the Balkans as well, this worries me. I see the militarization of Serbia with a large number of aircraft that it will receive from Russia and technological weapons that it will receive from China.
There may be an indirect threat to fragile Balkan countries such as Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
There have been several small attempts by Serbs in northern Kosovo, in Mitrovica. “It would have great economic consequences,” said Harxhi.
