Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the energy crisis, taking the example of Germany, which is preparing a plan to cut off gas supplies. In the Assembly, Rama said that they did not think that the crisis would be further complicated by the war, while he said that they would keep the price of energy stable until they could.
Rama: It would be good if I, the chairman of the Socialist Party, did not make this sermon for you of the Albanian right. I would say that it is very important today that we agree with the fact that we are among a collective of countries that are affected by a war that has started and any appearance on the screens to deny this does no honor to anyone. Any attempt to fight or continue that little village war and to explain the consequences of the war on prices as consequences that have nothing to do with the war is dishonest because the whole world is in this situation.
Australia, which is at the bottom, is in the same situation. Here I want to go back to the moment I announced that we are entering a critical phase for electricity supply. It was not a fantasy or a fabrication, but a fact. Now it is impossible to hide the facts that there is no more talk of prices.
Not far from last night, the German Minister of Economy announced that the gas supply plan of Germany will be presented soon. Germany is preparing plans to cut off domestic gas supplies. We have reached the conditions when the crisis has affected the most powerful country in Europe. This has to do with the fact that at the moment when we announced what was coming and said that we would take appropriate measures, we did not even imagine that the issue would be further complicated by the war.
