An angry mob of locals surrounded the home of a suspected former pedophile yesterday following a signal from volunteers in Scotland.
Dozens of locals surrounded the rumored house in the town of Moodiesburn, but soon police flooded the scene surrounding the house with several vehicles before the dramatic scenes unfolded.
The British daily “The Sun” wrote that a police dog was seen lightly as passing cars blew their horns as the crowd continued to howl.
Witnesses later said a person was seen entering the police van.
One of those present said: “We are a united community that comes together quickly when it comes to protecting children and people from these dirty people.”
A Scottish police spokesman said: “Officers were called to the scene of a riot on Cumbernauld Road in Moodiesburn on Monday afternoon 2 May 2022.
“No arrests were made and no one was injured, but we are investigating possible damage.”
