The festival of lights in Lyon, France attracted a giant crowd of people. It was a special feeling for them to attend the canceled event last year due to the pandemic.
But even this time, the participation required a small “sacrifice”: All the curious, had to wear masks, even though the festival was organized in the open.
This did not stop people, locals and tourists, from enjoying the evening.
“I am very happy, it is the first time I come and see a festival of lights. Friends had told me it’s wonderful, but now I can see it with my own eyes. I’m sorry it ‘s raining, and it’ s the coronavirus on my feet, but I’m still glad I was able to follow it closely”.
“It’s incredible, really beautiful. The lights are magical. A fantastic show and a very interesting evening, I enjoyed every moment of it”.
France recorded a few days ago an increase in hospitalizations with COVID-19, following an increase in infections.
According to Health Minister Olivier Veran, the current wave of pandemics in the country could reach its peak in January.
