Fiks Fare denounced on Tuesday evening the abuse of an aesthetic clinic in Tirana with its patients, in the blood test.
Dermolife Clinic for profit, throws blood samples from patients for analysis, before performing aesthetic interventions, throws them in the trash, while patients print ready test results.
The tests that this clinic does before performing the intervention for placing a gastric balloon in a patient’s stomach cost him 100 euros, but they are fictitious. The scandal was revealed by Fiks Fare, also broadcasting how the scheme works. Although the patient’s blood is taken from this clinic for tests, the sample ends up in the trash while the test forms are ready, only the patient’s data is changed.
According to the complaint received by Fiks Fare, this clinic abuses patients, as the performed tests are thrown in the trash. To prove this abuse the journalist of Fiks goes to the Dermolife clinic as a patient. Requires intervention to insert gastric balloon for slimming. After agreeing on the price to pay (the price of the balloon is 2000 euros), the journalist is asked by the clinic to perform blood tests by taking a blood sample from his body. While the show Fiks Fare has been infiltrated by collaborators within the clinic. They shoot the blood sample which after being taken from the patient, is thrown directly into the rubbish bin and not sent to the laboratory. Fiks’s collaborator talks to the nurse who explains that the samples are thrown in the trash and not taken for analysis.
She takes care not to speak loudly, advising the co-worker that this should not be overlooked.
She explains that the answers are received ready in the system and patients are told that you are okay and ready to put the balloon.
The blood they took from the Fiks journalist in the presence of the collaborator was thrown in the bin, while the answer would be printed by the system. The nurse then explains that the forms are ready, just change the patient details and then print. To camouflage all of this, as if the tests were actually performed, patients are told that their response will take at least 2 hours to come out. The doctor even advises the nurse to delay a bit and why the answer was downloaded from the system.
Fiction brought the whole process that took place in the clinic from taking the sample to throwing it in the bin, to printing ready-made answers.
Meanwhile, when the journalist receives the answers, the doctor tells him that everything is fine and he can go the next day and place the gastric balloon.
