The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, stated this Saturday that the DP will seek a motion for debate to put pressure on the government, after the increase of the oil price.
In a statement to the media before the start of the meeting of the Parliamentary Group in PD, Basha said that he will make this proposal, in order to alleviate the crisis.
According to him, there are two ways to cope with such situations, one is subsidizing by the state, while the other is to keep the price under control.
“There are two ways to deal with such situations, one is to subsidize while the other is to keep the price under control. The latter is done through the abolition of the Rama tax. Reduce other taxes. North Macedonia is doing this. I called them two weeks ago, now we are in the middle of this crisis that it is not known what will happen later. One of the proposals is to seek a debate motion to put pressure on the government“, Said Basha.
