Between Elbasan and Tirana, there is a small Switzerland.
The crystal clear water lake, surrounded by beech and pine forests, give Funar an amazing beauty that is worth visiting in any season.
But even though so close, it seems that Funari is still unknown. 20 km from Elbasan and 23 km from Tirana, Funari would be the preferred destination for a quiet outdoor weekend, but the difficult infrastructure makes the area not easily accessible.
To promote areas with tourist potential, cultural and sports activities such as hiking and kayaking and canoeing are being organized.
