During the last 24 hours in Germany as a result of COVID-19 264 people lost their lives.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported that 10,580 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 2,482,522.
With the new deaths the number of victims has increased to 71,504.
In Germany, 4,550,000 people have received the first dose of the vaccine, while another 2,300,000 have received the second dose.
