The following operation, codenamed “Golden bullet”, started immediately after the arrest of the highly wanted Nuredin Dumani, who was arrested during the police operation codenamed “Arratia”, which was carried out by the structures of the State Police, in cooperation with the Prosecution at the Elbasan Judicial District Court.

After intensive investigative actions carried out by the State Police structures, in cooperation with the SPAK and the Prosecution at the Elbasan Judicial District Court, as well as based on information received from various sources, reasonable suspicions were raised about the involvement of many other persons, in criminal activities against the person and in the field of organized crime.

Immediately after the issuance of arrest warrants for 32 people and orders to conduct searches in 28 apartments, issued by the Special Court of First Instance Against Corruption and Organized Crime, the State Police organized the police operation codenamed “Golden bullet”, for execution of security measures “Prison arrest”.

The operation was extended to several regions, in Tirana, Durres, Elbasan and Lezha. The operation involved the special forces RENEA, FNSH, the Directorate of Special Operational Force, the Directorate Against Crime against Person and Property, the Investigation Directorate, as well as the Local Directorates of the counties I mentioned.

This operation was led by the General Directorate of State Police.
