Temperatures rise by 3-4 ° C on Fridays and weekends, causing most of the Albanian territory to turn into positive values.
According to MeteoAlb, however, the biggest increase in thermal values is expected to come next week and continue until the end of February. Fortunately, during this period wet air masses will circulate over the territory but without being able to bring significant rainfall; only light rainfall is expected in the last days of the month.
Noon temperatures during the next week will rise above 20 ° C in some cities of the western lowlands creating the feeling of the rapid arrival of spring. However, even during the first half of March, there will occasionally be inflows of air masses from northern Europe which will lower temperatures to negative values for mountainous areas but the frosty days are gone.
Meteorologist, Hakil Osmani during a live connection in the news studio on Top Channel said that starting today we will have an increase in temperatures which by Friday will reach 20 degrees Celsius.
While, at the weekend according to Osmani we will have a slight drop in values but compared to the typical temperatures of February they will be high.
“In the coming days we will have a gradual increase of temperatures by 1 degree Celsius of thermal values, causing the maximum to reach 20 degrees by Friday. “Over the weekend we will have a slight drop in values, but still remain high 18-19 degrees Celsius in the western lowlands,” he said.
