Ferrari is significantly faster than the other cars of the Formula 1 championship, however, the mistakes sometimes of the team leaders and sometimes of Charles Leclerc, have caused that the lead is still held by the current champion, Max Verstappen.
This weekend the Italian team gave another victory to the Dutch pilot as it was Leclerc who, although he started first and was leading, made a mistake that cost him the exit from the track and at the same time gave the victory to Verstappen.
The driver from Monaco himself appeared quite disappointed after the race, as he declared that if he will lose the title by 32 points, then the fault will be entirely his for the mistakes in Imola and in France.
“I’m a top-level pilot and I can’t afford these mistakes. I will be very sorry if I lose the title by 32 points, as I made the mistakes myself, both here and at Imola. There are 10 races left and we have all the opportunities to do better, but we must not repeat mistakes like this today”, said Leclerc.
