A charity worker who managed to escape from Mariupol yesterday described the hell and horror port city besieged by the Russians.
Deminer Halo Trust was working to disarm the explosives before being forced to give birth.
He says elderly residents are dying in their homes and no one can help them because of the constant bombing.
“From the news and other videos we can understand only a part of what is happening on the ground. We went through hell. “I saw a lot of people I knew die.”
“There is no electricity, no heating, no water. I can not find words to describe the horror, the atmosphere, the darkness that reigns over the city of Mariupol or, more precisely, the ruins left by the city“, He said.
