The Technical Committee of Experts has met to discuss the pandemic situation and anti-Covid measures.
Chief of Infectious Diseases, Najada Çomo has shown how the situation is in hospitals, explaining that the numbers have dropped but continue to receive treatment patients who are mostly unvaccinated.
Çomo: A month ago we had 175 patients while now it is 50 hospitalized. Most of them, 70% are severe forms, the rest are severe and critical forms. Hospitalized people are unvaccinated people and despite the fact that we have a decrease in hospitalized patients, we have deaths every day and if these people were vaccinated, the number of life losses would be much lower. I continue to call that despite the fact that we have a decrease in cases, the strong weapon we must keep is the vaccination process.
