Albana Hana, the daughter of the late prosecutor, Xhevat Hana, will run for MP in the Socialist Party in the April 25 elections.
According to her, involvement in politics is intended to continue her father’s mission. “For me it is important that I continue in his footsteps, with concrete actions and that is the main reason why I decided to get involved in politics”.
Hana adds that “The first credit that the SP offered me this opportunity is because I am the daughter of the prosecutor”. She will be the candidate of the Socialist Party in the SP for the region of Elbasan, will represent the area of Përrenjas, where her father is born.
Xhevat Hana was one of the most famous prosecutors in Albania, with a long career in justice, for some time and as an advisor to President Alfred Moisiu. During 2011 he was hospitalized for a long time in a public hospital in Tirana, but his family members were forced to transport him to Italy due to deteriorating health, where he died on January 5, 2012.
