61-year-old Jani Kallanxhi, who was detained last Friday by the Korça Police, on charges of sexually harassing his 8-year-old daughter, has been remanded in custody after the Court accepted the request of the Prosecution.
During the session of imposing the security measure and validating the legality of the arrest, it is alleged that the 61-year-old has denied the charges brought before the court. He has stated that he did not do anything to the girl and did not harass her.
He is said to have told the court that he took care of his daughter, as his wife was ill.
The case of the 8-year-old juvenile will also be considered in the Juvenile Section of the Korça Court.
