Patrice Evra, a footballer who has won a lot during his career with Monaco, Manchester United, Juventus, Marseille’s Olympique and the representative of France, has revealed that he has gone through a very difficult childhood.
The trauma he suffered as a teenager has shown him little by little in his autobiography, “I like this game.”
He also admitted to being a victim of sexual abuse.

Evra’s father left the house. There were 24 brothers, but he managed to survive.
“Sometimes, at midnight, when they threw cold hamburgers in the trash, we would go get them. After my dad left, it was chaos. Football saved me. When I was 17, I traveled to Italy (went to Marsala and Monza, before signing with Nice). I remember going into my room and having a pair of tracksuits. I called my mom and told her: this is paradise, people serve us food and we have two forks on one side and two knives on the other.
