The Lezha Police is finalizing the police operation codenamed “Gjadri”, to apprehend persons declared internationally wanted.
His arrest was made for the purpose of extradition to Italy.
The services of the Lezha Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the services of the Lezha DVP, following the work to apprehend persons declared internationally wanted, based on the information provided by the police, have made possible the localization, apprehension and detention of the citizen :
AM (B)., 28 years old, resident of Gjadër village, Lezhë.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted, after the Court of Pavia, Italy, imposed the security measure “Prison arrest” for the criminal offenses “Attempted Murder” and “Injury”, provided by the Italian Criminal Code.
This citizen is a person identified in Albania, by the police, as he has been prosecuted before for the criminal offenses “Destruction of property” and “Intentional minor injury.”
Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome, follows the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy.
