COVID19 / Ministry of Health: 5,694 tests, 1,236 infected citizens, 4 loss of life and 329 cured in the last 24 hours
The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.
Any citizen over 16 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
The Ministry of Health appeals to all +18 years old who have passed 6 months from the second dose, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.

Avoid crowds and ventilate your premises to limit the spread of Covid-19.
We remind citizens that putting on a mask is mandatory in any closed environment.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 5,694 tests were performed, of which were positive with COVID19, 1,236 citizens, in the following municipalities: 584 in Tirana, 68 in Shkodra, 62 in Durres, 59 in Elbasan, 45 Vlora, 42 in Fier, 40 in Saranda, 32 in Lushnje, 28 in Lezha, 26 in Kamza, 19 in Gjirokastra, 15 in Berat, 14 in Mallakastra, Korca, 11 in Vora, Mat, Pogradec, 10 in Vau i Dejes , Kurbin, Tepelena, Skrapar, 9 in Përmet, 8 in Himara, 7 in Kuçovë, Belsh, 6 in Dibër, Divjakë, Dimal, Peqin, Gramsh, 5 Puka, 4 in Malësi e Madhe, Kukës, Patos, Këlcyrë, Prrenjas, 3 in Tropoja, Shijak, Kruja, Kavaja, Polican, 2 in Rrogozhina, Delvina, 1 in Has, Mirdita, Klos, Selenica, Dropull, Memaliaj, Maliq, Kolonja, Librazhd, Cërrik.
There are 7,952 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently 107 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 15 are in more serious condition. Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours there are 4 loss of life with SARS-COV2
positive: one citizen from Elbasan 58 years old, two citizens from Vlora 73 and 83 years old,
a citizen from Tirana 76 years old. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
329 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 202,077 since the beginning of the epidemic.
