The process of reconstruction of houses and other buildings damaged by the earthquake, but creates another problem, the environmental one.
Pollution hotspots have been created along the road and in the areas near residential buildings due to inerts and other waste dumped on them.
This is the road that leads to the coast of Hamallaj which with the warming of the weather is being frequented by many local vacationers.
“We are very worried that they are ruining them and throwing them here. Go to the hydropower plant because there is a lot of garbage there as well. ”
“All farmers have problems with waste. This was the main road and a few days ago they opened it, because it could not be crossed either by truck or by truck. They have complained several times, but nothing. “
Even in different neighborhoods of the city of Durrës, inerts have become a concern, as they do not retreat and often irresponsible citizens increase pollution by depositing urban waste on them.
