Tefik Shehu, one of the persons involved in the gunshot wound on December 9 in a hotel on the Durrës-Tirana highway has been arrested.

Sh., 32 years old, resident in Durrës, whom the Court of First Instance Durrës, on 10.12.2021, has imposed the measure of security “Prison arrest”, for the criminal offense “Failure to report a crime”, in connection with the event that occurred on 09.12.2021, in the room of a hotel on the highway Durrës-Tirana, where a 20-year-old was wounded with a firearm year old ”, according to police.
The 20-year-old who was injured has been identified as Arni Sulejmani and received the bullet in the elbow area.
He was shot and wounded by 26-year-old Markeljan Beqiri, a resident of Durrës, who has been declared wanted for the criminal offenses of “Intentional Murder” and “Illegal Possession of a Weapon” and is still on the run.
Police said that Angela Brisku, a transgender suspect and Enver Hysenaj were handcuffed.
22-year-old Angela Brisku is charged with the criminal offenses “Illegal possession of weapons”, “Actions that hinder the discovery of the truth” and “Failure to report a crime”, because according to the police, this citizen, immediately after the event, took the firearm and hid it in the back of the hotel.
Meanwhile, Enver Hysenaj, 66 years old, is accused of the criminal offense “Failure to report a crime”, after sheltering the citizen Anxhela Brisku, while he was aware of the event.//
