The Task Force Unit of the Regional Directorate of Border Police-East, in the framework of the Operational Plan “Strike 2022”, in implementation of measures to prevent and combat illegality have intensified tactical and operational controls in the field.

The smuggled goods were suspected to have entered the territory of the Republic of Kosovo from the Republic of Northern Macedonia through illegal routes.
After their attempt to avoid the police detention, our border authorities managed to stop him around 11:30 in the village of Kabash in Viti. During the control in the vehicle was found a considerable amount of various commercial goods such as car parts, food items (hazelnuts), stimulant drugs “kamagra” etc. The total value of the goods remains to be assessed by Kosovo Customs
