The Italian fashion house “Mua Mua” has donated to Elton Ilirjani the dress with the colors of the rainbow for May 17, the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transophobia!
This dress was personally created by the owner of the fashion house, the Italian stylist living in Bali. The stylist personally took care of this creation and sent it from Bali to New York.
Elton Ilirjani, in support of the Albanian LGBTQI community decided to make public this parade on the same date as the LGBTQI Pride Parade held in Tirana. This support comes in an aggravated climate against this community in Albania.
The businessman used the same slogan used in the Tirana parade: “We are Family!”. He chose to run with this rainbow-colored dress on the streets of the neighborhood where he lives in Brooklyn showing that LGBTQI are families and as such are treated the same by other neighborhood residents in New York.
The message was meaningful and strong against conservatism and political homophobia.
