US President Joe Biden has accepted the request of some US congressmen who have called for the issue of the Bytyçi brothers and the case of Vasfije Krasniqi-Goodman to be on his agenda.
The news was announced by Krasniqi-Goodman’s brother, Nafi Krasniqi, through a Facebook post, saying that they are determined to seek justice for civilian victims.
The letter reads: “We ask you to keep your promise to bring justice to the Bytyçi family. We also respectfully demand justice for all victims of war crimes committed during the Kosovo War… We urge you to fulfill your commitment to seek an answer from President Vuçiic and to request a full investigation into this case ‘.
Nafi Krasniqi writes that they are determined to seek justice, and their request goes beyond a single case. He mentions Councilor Mark Gjonaj as the creator and supporter of the initiative: “Rallyforherjustice”, who had and has a clear vision of how the issue of the Bytyci Brothers, the case of Vasfija, but also of over 20 thousand survivors should be on the agenda of Congressmen, the President and the US Congress.
