Forensic expert Ervin Karamuça called the arrests and police escorts of the protesters illegal, based on the decisions of the Prosecution.
He stressed that unprecedented violence is being used by the police, when there is no violation of the law.
Karamuço said that there is an invisible enemy in the ranks of the police that must disappear without another serious event such as the murder of Klodian Rasha by former police officer Nevaldo Hajdaraj
“Should we wait for a second Rasha to put on the shoulders behind the wall an invisible enemy in the ranks of the State Police? The protest is not prejudiced and anathema. “Even when by law I have to notify the police”said Karamuça.
Dozens of citizens have been gathering for six days in Tirana and other cities of the country protesting against the increase in the price of food and hydrocarbons.
The Social Resistance Package approved by the government is not the right measure according to the protesters, as the rest of the population has been bypassed.
Every day of the week they will meet at 17:00 in front of the Prime Minister, while Saturday will be a national march.
This revolt of citizens came after the immediate rise in the price of food products and hydrocarbons as a result of the war in Ukraine. Dozens of citizens were escorted from the protests to the police stations.
