The national kick boxing championship for all age categories was held in Gjirokastra.
The event, which is being held for the first time, gathered almost 15 teams from Albania, while there were also guests from Kosovo and Greece. Klodjan Tosuni sports organizer from the Kick Boxing Federation said that sport should get more attention to occupy an important time of day of youth and adults and needs more support.
During the championship they were motivated with titles of athletes of all ages who are trained by local clubs.
The number of female participants for all disciplines is confirmed to have doubled for most clubs but sports professionals describe the training conditions as very difficult compared to the region.
