Berisha has implied that Albania has lost its sovereignty under the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama and that the US is in control of state decisions.
He compared the American ambassador with the Soviet ones during the time of leadership by Enver Hoxha.
“The ambassador should behave like a governor, like the Soviet ambassador in Tirana”, said Berisha.
