The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has announced that during the last 24 hours, a total of 2,996 samples taken from the HUCSK and tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which 398 are positive cases.
According to the institute, within 24 hours a case of death with SARS CoV-2 positive was reported. The case of death is from the municipality: Drenas 1 case (39 years old).
“The total number of positive cases is 66,380 cases out of 285,900 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1,572 deaths. During the last 24 hours, 228 patients have been cured while the total number of cured to date is a total of 58,169 cases, while the number of active cases is 6,639. Positive cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 141 cases, Peja 37 cases, Ferizaj 34 cases, Gjilan 24 cases, Prizren 23 cases, Mitrovica 20 cases, Gjakova 19 cases, Fushë-Kosovë 16 cases, Lipjan 10 cases, Podujevë 10 cases, Vushtrri 10 cases, Klina 9 cases, Istog 8 cases, Obiliq 8 cases, Skenderaj 6 cases, Drenas 4 cases, Kaçanik 4 cases, Malisheva 3 cases, Rahovec 3 cases, Viti 3 cases, Shtime 2 cases and with one case the municipalities of Deçan, Dragash “Mamusha and Suhareka”, it is said in the announcement.
