The Government of Kosovo has not taken a decision to ban the holding of elections in Serbia in the territory of Kosovo.
According to the chief executive, Albin Kurti, no agreement was reached between Kosovo and Serbia.
““After failing to reach an agreement on holding Serbian presidential and parliamentary elections in Kosovo as well, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has called on Kosovo Serbs to travel to Serbia to exercise their right to vote on April 3.” said Kurti.
Vuçi ka added that Kosovo Serbs, after this refusal, are ready to leave Kosovo institutions.
Regarding these threats, Kurti called on Serbian citizens not to react.
The European Union has also expressed regret over the failure to reach an agreement, which called for the OSCE to collect votes as in the past.
Kosovo by decision had canceled the organization of the referendum of Serbia for constitutional changes on January 16.
