The Ministry of Health in Kosovo announced that on Sunday, January 30, 2,390 new cases of coronavirus were registered, after testing 10,336 samples.
The positivity rate from the samples taken is 23.12 percent.
In the last 24 hours there have been no victims with this virus.
Health authorities have also reported that 1,291 people have recovered while 35,051 people are still active in the coronavirus.
Kosovo launched its coronavirus vaccination campaign in March last year.
More than 1.7 million doses of the vaccine have been given since then.
To date, 804,801 people or 44 percent of the population have been immunized with two doses of the vaccine.
Citizens in Kosovo can get vaccines from the companies: Pfizer / BioNTech and AstraZeneca.
The booster dose of the vaccine can be taken after three months of taking the second dose.
The Government of Kosovo on January 21 approved new measures to combat the pandemic.
According to the decision of the Government, citizens entering Kosovo must be fully vaccinated and have the boosting dose.
Those who do not have the booster dose should have a negative PCR test valid for 48 hours.
The traffic restriction will be applied from 22:00 until 05:00.
Gastronomy businesses can conduct their activity from 05:00 to 21:00.
