A 43-year-old man has fallen into the hands of the Kukës police, after he was caught transporting 28 kilograms of cannabis with his vehicle.
Police seized 28kg of drugs, cars, two mobile phones and a quantity of money, while his accomplice was declared wanted.
As a result of the operation “Thirra”, MV (P), 43 years old, resident in Durrës, was arrested in flagrante delicto.
During the operation, near the Thirra tunnel, the Police services stopped the “Ford” type vehicle, driven by the citizen MV (P).
During the physical search, he was found and seized another quantity of suspected cannabis.
Following the actions, the citizen E. LL., 32 years old, resident in Prosek, Mirdita, was declared wanted, who accompanied the citizen MV, with his vehicle type “Nissan”.
According to the police, the materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Kukës Court of First Instance, for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics”, committed in collaboration.
