Marash Kumbulla is confirmed again as a starter in the three-point scheme in defense of Jose Mourinho’s Roma, who managed to return to victory tonight, after beating Spezian 2-0.
A very good challenge for the yellow and reds, but also for the red and black defender, who won the personal derby with his friend in the Albanian national team, Rey Manaj, who was also the starter with the jersey of the league team.
The victory came from the defense for the yellows, who scored with Chris Smalling in the 6th minute and then doubled with Ibanez in the 56th, while in addition also scored Afena-Gyan, but the goal was canceled for hand touch and the striker was punished. with the second yellow card, fleeing prematurely to the locker rooms.
Rey Manaj also found the goal, but even this time it was the VAR that intervened to cancel it, as it had an offside position at the start of the action by the Spezia players.
These were the grades and the assessment for the two red and blacks after the match:
Kumbulla – 6: Well coordinated when it comes to pressing the follower, even though he commits more fouls than he should. He is positioned quite well in defense, closing his spaces, however he risks the red for an intervention against Agudelos.
Manaj – 5.5: In the first part very rigid and often irritates Thiago Motta, as he does not move enough. In the second 45 minutes he does better, as he engages Rui Patrision and finds the goal that VAR cancels.
