Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc has won the Austrian Grand Prix in Formula 1. Max Verstappen (RedBull) finished second, while the podium was completed by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes).
The 24-year-old from Monte Carlo continued the duels with Verstappen, whom he overtook two more times. At the end he had problems, but managed to finish the race in first place.
The other car of the Italian “redhead”, that of Carlos Sainz, showed problems. The Spaniard attempted to pass Verstappen on lap 57, but the engine broke and even the Ferrari was engulfed in flames.
The reigning world champion has 208 points, Leclerc ranks second with 170 points. Next comes the Mexican Perez of Red Bull with 151 points, while Lewis Hamilton, who has not yet enjoyed his first season success, has collected only 109 points./ SuperSport
