Parliamentary political parties agreed to set up a special parliamentary commission on electoral reform. The CEC reminds these parties of the need to start working as soon as possible to meet the OSCE / ODIHR recommendations. The next local elections are not far away. April 16, 2023 is the first possible date for these elections. The date 14 May 2023 is the last date.
The composition and functioning of the election administration, the procedures for issuing the result, financing, appeals and administrative sanctions, media campaigns including online, the use of public funds in the campaign, digitalization, are some of the issues that the CEC deems should receive attention for reform by special parliamentary committee.
