Many elderly people who are lonely come to community centers where in each other’s company through various activities they spend time but also consume food meals.
Avdyl Nasko is 80 years old. Since 2014 he lives alone. In the last two years that he has started going to the community center in Kombinat, he says that he has found sisters and brothers there.

Bekim Duro: I have been participating in this institution for 8 years and it is exactly for our age, especially for me who is 85 years old and the oldest here. It has been 10 years since my old woman died. I found the center and I am very pleased.
The hours spent in the center, for Alexandra serve to break the loneliness.
Alexandra Voices: Here we calm down and break the loneliness that staying 24 hours alone at home is difficult but at least 3 hours away from home. We have not left the city without going. Enjoy here a tea, coffee, walk by the lake is a pleasure.
More than 100 citizens receive various services near this center.
Egla Laze: Nearly 100 individuals are offered food meals but also 150 individuals receive prepared food in the baths.
