Italy, after failing to qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup through the group stage, will return to the field in March to win a ticket to the biggest football event.
In the play-off semifinals, they will face Northern Macedonia in Palermo (March 24th), then, if successful, will challenge the winner of the Portugal-Turkey pair (March 29th).
Roberto Mancini, on the occasion of the end-of-year holidays, used the visit to the pediatric neuropsychiatry department of the pediatric ward of Sant’Orsola Hospital in Bolonga to talk about his team’s objectives. “The children, for sure, will be fans of different teams.
“I hope to bring a moment of happiness, in a very difficult situation”, – comments the coach. “From now until March there is still time and we hope we can make a gift to all Italians and the children who suffer the most at this time” ./ supersport
