A Ukrainian soldier, who was isolated at the Azovstal steel plant in the besieged port city of Mariupol, died three days after he got married.
Valeria Karpylenko married border guard Andrii inside the steel plant in a ceremony where the couple exchanged foil rings on May 5th.
His wife Andrii has now promised to escape the siege for her husband, vowing to “live for him”.
