The Mayor of Durrës, Emiriana Sako, accompanied by the Socialist MP, Blendi Klosi held a conversation with residents of Xhafzotaj administrative unit Rrashbull, where he stressed the attention of the Municipality to improve the infrastructure in all administrative units while focusing especially on the work done in this area.
Significant investments in the water supply network, road infrastructure, electricity supply network, are some of the completed investments in this area, which have directly affected the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants of this area, while in parallel the reconstruction process continues. for the residents affected by the earthquake, Sako announced.
Mayor Sako spoke to the residents that only last year in the administrative unit Rrashbull 11 road axes were rehabilitated, while with the support of OSHEE it was possible to build a new 20 kilovolt electricity supply network for the entire administrative unit. Also with state budget funds it has become possible to invest in water supply, which has significantly improved the drinking water supply of the area.
Mayor Sako stated that this year’s budget envisages the construction of two new road axes, the reconstruction of facades for 5-storey buildings that will start after a month and the construction of a new playground.
Mayor Sako stressed once again that the most important program is that of reconstruction, for which she has always had the support of Prime Minister Rama. Sako added that we will complete this program as we promised until all the residents affected by the earthquake return to their homes. At the end of the meeting, Sako expressed his conviction that he will have the support of the residents for the March 6 elections.
The MP and organizational coordinator of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, during his speech at this meeting, expressed satisfaction with the territorial reform, which has given positive effects in increasing services for residents of the Municipality of Durres, regardless of where they live.
“Xhafzotaj is actually one of the neighborhoods of Durrës, which already gives support to Edi Rama, the Socialist Party, for all the good work that has been done for you, therefore our invitation is to support the candidacy of Mrs. Sako, as she has testified commitment to work in the service of the city and the citizens of Durrës ”said Klosi.
