The mayor of Durrës and at the same time the candidate of the Socialist Party for the March 6 elections, Emiriana Sako, stated in the meeting with the residents of Shkozet that none of the residents who left the apartment due to the earthquake will remain without returning to where they used to live.
Sako said that in these two years a lot of work has been done with the reconstruction program and the work will continue until the end, until the last building is repaired. In the meeting held in Shkozet, the mayor Sako was accompanied by the political leader of the region Adrian Çela, the organizational secretary of SPA Blendi Klosi as well as the deputies of the Socialist Party Klodiana Spahiu and Alban Xhelili.
Focusing on the reconstruction program, Mayor Emiriana Sako said: “in these two years we have given more than 6000 rent bonuses for families who left their homes and today this number has decreased to 3500, which means that many families have returned to the apartments where they lived before. We have given 15 thousand reconstruction grants for the apartments of citizens with damages DS1, DS2 and DS3, 405 buildings have been reconstructed in total in Durrës, while 180 others will start working soon. Specifically in your neighborhood we are building two new buildings in the place where they were before, the school “Hasan Koçi” is one of the 16 new schools that were built after the earthquake, while we have other projects to improve road infrastructure, lighting and quarters in different blocks of flats”.
Mayor Sako further said that her commitment is only to the citizens and the development of the city. “I do not care at all who my opponents are in this race, I am only interested in the citizens, for whom the door of the municipality has been, is and will be constantly open, for everyone without distinction.”
The organizational secretary of the Socialist Party Blendi Klosi said in front of the residents of Shkozet that the vote for Emiriana Sako on March 6 means the continuation of the major projects of Edi Rama that will be implemented in Durrës and that will transform the city.
“The whole process developed in these two years is a proof of how hard and efficiently the Prime Minister and the socialist government have worked to face the consequences of the earthquake, how committed the mayor Emiriana Sako and all the municipal staff have been to her. cope with this natural disaster”.
