Occupying leader Vladimir Putin’s Russian army has recently been accused of forcibly mobilizing Ukrainian youth in the separatist regions of Donbas to fight against their compatriots.
As previously reported and for the forced mobilization of pro-Russian persons in the regions under control of Ukraine, reports from the east also speak of the forced recruitment of soldiers to fight against their country.
A wounded Ukrainian soldier reported that separatists in the Donbas were being sent on “suicide missions” on behalf of Vladimir Putinwithout proper military training and with obsolete weapons.
Talking to the British The Telegraphmilitary Serhii added that the separatists appeared to have consumed drugs as they launched their standing attacks on Ukrainian positions, in the form of almost suicide.
This in turn forced Kiev soldiers to shoot at their compatriots exposing their positions to Russian forces.
Serhii added: “They did not even have helmets or bulletproof vests and were sent there to provoke or start an exchange of fire.”
“Many were beaten like pieces of meat, and then the drones dictated our positions and they launched artillery attacks.”
“It was clear that they had been drugged with something, because I do not understand how someone armed could so easily come directly in front of us.”
Authorities in Kiev said they were losing about 200 people a day in the Donbas region, hit hard by Russian artillery.
They also claim that the Russian army is losing people with the same numbers.
To date (June 16), Ukraine says the number of Russian forces killed since the start of the occupation has reached 32,950, 1,449 tanks, 213 aircraft and 3,545 armored vehicles.
Although there are reports that Russian forces are advancing in eastern Ukraine, their losses are large.
