The Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj called on the deputies to vote on the normative act for the financial compensation of the price for construction materials.
She stressed that the normative act “On the financial compensation of the price for some construction materials, according to the definitions in public works contracts, as a result of the special situation created in the market during 2022”, proposes a solution to the problems
“The act proposes a solution to the problems since the rise in prices of bitumen, zinc, pipes, which did not start with the war but in 2021 given the increased demand of the global economy, economic growth after the slowdown that suffered after the pandemic, if we refer to the figures from 20020 cement 47.8% compared to December of this year 20%, with 30% compared to December of this year. We are supporting those businesses not only to help the Albanian economy but also to maintain the employment rate. But the speech in the minister’s rostrum brought the reaction of the Democratic MP, Edmond Spaho.
