COVID19 / Ministry of Health: 545 tests, 17 infected citizens, 1 loss of life and 37 cured in the last 24 hours
The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Any citizen over 12 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point.
MSHMS appeals to all citizens vaccinated with two doses, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 545 tests were performed, of which 17 were positive with COVID19, in the following municipalities:
9 in Tirana, 4 in Fier, 2 in Pogradec, 1 in Divjaka, Tepelena.
There are 364 active COVID-19 patients nationwide.
Currently 10 patients are receiving treatment in COVID3 hospital, of which 1 is in the most serious condition. In the last 24 hours there is a loss of life with Sars-Cov2: a 79 year old citizen from Vlora.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the family.
37 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 270,378 since the beginning of the epidemic.
