The picture shows the moments when a brave employee of the ice cream shop forcibly hits an armed robber who demanded the money of the turnover, before with the help of others they beat him and knocked him to the ground.
The dramatic attempted robbery took place in the Santa Rita area of the Brazilian city of Brusque on Sunday, December 26th.
The local network G1, wrote that the suspect armed with a knife wanted to rob the cash register.
But the brave employees clashed with him and kept him neutralized until the arrival of the police.
A police spokesman said: “We were then forced to contain the people as they wanted to lynch the suspect, he was injured before coming to the police.”
Police Chief Egidio Ferrari said the employees were not injured in the incident, and added that they would not be investigated as they were in self-defense positions.
In the security camera footage, the suspect is seen with a motorcycle helmet on his head, threatening the cashier with a knife.
But one of his colleagues slowly approaches him from behind and attacks him with a chair.
Initially the employee fights with him before other colleagues come to help him.
Executives said it was the first attempted robbery since the store opened four years ago.
The suspect received medical assistance on Sunday and then left the hospital to be taken into custody.
Investigations are ongoing.
