The scene shows moments of horror when the British owner of a lion garden in South Africa is bitten by a lion and pulled among the vegetation to be massacred.
Shocking images are displayed online when the owner Mike Hodge was attacked by the big feline in the Macarele center in South Africa.
Mike and his family managed the reserve in Thabazimbi, which had grown from a shelter to a vast wildlife center.
The picture shows the lion spotting Mike as he enters the predator compartment and follows him towards the iron door of the plant.
The elderly owner of the animal shelter is then bitten by the feline and pulled hard as if it were a rag doll inside the vegetation.
Witnesses start screaming for help while Mike does not seem to move as he is taken hostage by the animal.
But after he pulls the man towards the vegetation, a few shots are heard and the lion trembles abandoning his hostage.
The predator continues to stand next to the victim while other shots are heard in the air.
A girl watching the attack is heard screaming in horror as one man shouts at another “Take the rifle.”
A caretaker is forced to shoot Shamba who refuses to leave the 72-year-old.
Luckily Mike survived the attack and was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he performed the operation that saved his life.
