Member of the Assembly of Kosovo, from the Vetëvendosje Movement, Mirsad Shkreta reported on Friday to the police that 50 thousand euros were stolen from his apartment.
The denunciation of the deputy has been verified by the Kosovo police and the case has already been investigated.
In the statement given to the police, the deputy Shkreta has ascertained that persons still unidentified have entered his apartment in Prishtina and have received the amount of money.
This denunciation has created other problems for the Vetëvendosje MP, as the directorate of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Yll Buleshkaj has indicated that this amount of money was not reported in the MP’s declaration of assets in the current year and in this case could constitute a legal violation. .
Responding to the accusations, Shkreta has stated that they are biased and malicious related to his post, while the money is declared according to the law.
He also recalls that the income was generated by his profession and that of his wife as doctors for 20 years.
