As a result of a 1-year operation, carried out in cooperation by Interpol Tirana with the Office of Criminal Investigation at the Diplomatic Security Service at the United States Embassy in Tirana (DSS), deportation from the United States of America to our country, to face the Albanian justice bodies, of the Albanian citizen:
Tomor Çela, 56 years old, resident in Tirana.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted, after the Court of First Instance Tirana, with the decision dated 24.02.2014, sentenced him to 23 years in prison, for the criminal offenses “Premeditated murder” and “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosives and ammunition.
Summary of the event that took place: On 27.11.1997, in “Bajram Curri” street, Tirana, the citizen Tomor Çela, in cooperation with his brother, killed with a firearm, for weak motives, the citizens LH and ED
The Albanian State Police has a special thanks to the Office of Criminal Investigations at the Diplomatic Security Service at the United States Embassy in Tirana (DSS), the Agency for Immigration Customs and Special Operations (ICE-ERO), the Agency for Border Patrols in the United States United States of America (USBP), the National Central Bureau of the United States of America (USNCN), for their efforts and actions to carry out this accelerated process of return to Albania of Tomor Çela, to face the authorities of Albanian justice.
