Two people while another has been declared wanted after they were discovered cultivating narcotics in Lezha.
As a result of the controls in Gocaj village, Balldre administrative unit, Lezha district, in a closed environment, adapted as a warehouse, owned by the citizen Erbardh Gjeloshi, the police services have found and seized suspected narcotic seedlings cultivated in cubes, plants suspected narcotics in the drying process, as well as a quantity of narcotics in the form of bottles.
Also, following the operation, on a plot of land along the Drin River, in the administrative unit Kallmet, suspected narcotic plants were found, which are suspected to have been cultivated by the citizen Erbardh Gjeloshi.
Following the procedural actions, the citizen Erbardh Gjeloshi, 36 years old, resident in Gocaj, was arrested in flagrante delicto, and the citizen Erjon Mirukaj, 32 years old, resident in Balldre, was declared wanted, suspected as accomplices in these criminal activities.
Also, following the procedural actions for this operation, the citizen Marcelo Cali 24 years old, resident in Balldre, was arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense “Failure to report a crime”, and the citizen Gjon Nikolla 55 years old, resident in Gocaj, acting mayor of Gocaj village, for the criminal offense “Abuse of duty”.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Lezha Judicial District Court, for further actions.
