Nine officials have been suspended from duty in Korça for abuse of office.
The police operation codenamed “Green Forest” is finalized. The operation carried out after several months of investigation, by the Section for Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in DVP Korça, under the direction of the Prosecution of the Korça Judicial District, to crack down on illegal activity carried out by state employees.

Specialists of the Section for Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in the Local Police Directorate of Korça, under the direction of the Prosecution of the Korça Judicial District, after several months of investigation, finalized the operation codenamed “Green Forest”, during which they executed security measures with Prohibition character “Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service”, determined by the decision dated 28.03.2022, by the Court of the Korça Judicial District, for the citizens:
Gëzim Pasho, 54 years old, resident in Korça (acting inspector in the Korça Forest Inspection Sector);
Fjoralba Tota, 28 years old, resident in Kamza, Tirana (acting director of the Tirana Forest Inspection Directorate);
Marin Shpata, 38 years old, resident in Tirana (acting head of the Operational Sector in the Directorate of Forest Inspection Tirana);
Erion Qelemeni, 39 years old, resident of Korça (acting head of the Korça Environmental and Water Inspection Sector);
Julian Muke, 47 years old, resident in Korça (acting inspector in the Korça Territorial Control Inspection Sector);
Kostandin Dishnica, 51 years old, resident in Korça (acting inspector in the Sector of Environmental and Water Inspection of Korça);
Pacific Cane, 61 years old, resident in Ersekë (acting Chief Inspector in the Sector of Control and Protection of the Territory of Kolonjë);
Olsi Jarazi, 52 years old, resident in Korça (acting inspector in the Korça Gas and Oil Inspection Directorate);
Jorgji Menkshi, 53 years old, resident in Korça (acting inspector in the Directorate of Pressure Equipment Korça).
These citizens, during the time they have been employed in the state institutions mentioned above, are suspected of abusing their duty, by committing or not committing acts intentionally, in violation of the law, bringing to other persons, unfair benefits and by harming the legitimate interests of the state, citizens and other legal entities.
