Within the second week of March, the fruit and vegetable market will open in Durrës.
This was stated by the mayor of Durrës, Emiriana Sako, during the inspection of the works for the placement of new counters in this market. Mayor Emiriana Sako and at the same time SP candidate for the March 6 elections, has closely watched the establishment of new counters. The investment for the reconstruction of the daily fruit and vegetable market has already been completed and only the counter equipment was left.
Mayor Sako inspected the works during the assembly of the counters in the presence of a group of traders operating in this market. Sako told the traders that: “today new banks are being set up for fruits and vegetables, while a little later the counters for the dairy and fish brand will arrive”.
The reconstruction of the brand is currently completed, where it is worth mentioning the underground infrastructure, laying its surface and covering it with new panels. Traders will now operate in optimal hygienic conditions. During this inspection, Mayor Sako also met with traders who expressed their gratitude to the mayor for the investment that has been made and are already waiting for the start of work after two weeks.
