The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, has inspected the new Health Center in Sukth-Katund i Ri, rehabilitated within the Program of 300 Health Centers, which serves 4 thousand inhabitants of this area.
“Now with the improvement of the infrastructure of 300 health centers, we will continue with the care and support for the groups in need, turning the health centers into centers that provide service and socio-health care”, underlined the Minister.
Considering the delicate moment of the pandemic, Manastirliu asked for increased readiness on the part of the medical staff, while he said that despite the fact that vaccination is intensifying, vigilance should not be reduced for the implementation of simple measures.
“It is a delicate moment, it is a moment that requires a lot of commitment. “And he demands that the readiness be increased, because, despite the fact that we have started the vaccination and are already completing the medical staff and we are also extended to the age group +80 years, the increased care for the implementation of simple measures must definitely continue”, he said Manastirliu.
With the program of 300 health centers, 20 centers and ambulances have been rehabilitated in the region of Durrës, with the same quality as in the center and peripheral areas.
